Upon scheduling, you will gain a PT Everywhere patient account. You will receive a link through email to this website. You will need to use a laptop, phone or tablet for the visits (no desktops as I will need you to move the camera for different angles). If using a phone or tablet, you can download the PT Everywhere App for ease of use. If using a laptop, simply use the PT Everywhere website. At the time of the visit, you will log in to your PT Everywhere patient account and connect to the video call on this platform. Payment is also securely collected and processed on this platform.
The average is 6-10 total video visits. But it of course depends on your condition. Some people do not need more than 3 video visits, others require more than 10. Better compliance with the home program usually leads to less visits.
For the first 4 weeks, I do one 45-60 minute video visit per week and one 5-10 minute phone call visit per week. The purpose of the phone call visit is to assess the effects of the home routine and to provide adjustments or progressions. After 4 weeks, frequency of visits depends on the condition. Many times the frequency of video visits drops. Phone call visits are no cost. I also encourage texting me at any time between visits, even on the weekends, for questions or concerns.
Doctor's referral are not required. If you are under the care of a physician for this condition, I will ask for your permission to fax your PT notes to this physician.

It absolutely can be. At times it can be better in regards to problem solving how to teach you all the tools you need to manage your condition independently. Also, i have the ability to do ergonomic assessments of your home or work stations which can be crucial for improvement. On the other hand, in-person care does have value. At times, equipment or hands-on care by a skilled professional cannot be substituted. If we find your condition requires this, I will tap into my network of providers across the country to find you someone in-person who will provide your adequate care.
I am not in network with insurance, therefore I do not submit claims, please see why in the Services page. I collect a flat fee at the time of service. HSA's and FSA's are welcome! You can still use your insurance by submitting claims for reimbursement. I will provide you all codes required. If you plan to submit for reimbursement, I recommend checking with your insurance company first, unfortunately some do deny the reimbursement. I want you to have full transparency when it comes to costs.

I need your compliance and commitment to treatment instructions. I will prescribe you treatment, much like a physician prescribes you medication. If not taken adequately, optimal results shouldn't be expected.
